Communications Team

The excitement has been growing as we watch Christ United Methodist Church.  We have many opportunities ahead of us to reach out to our community and the world for Jesus Christ and invite them into a growing relationship with Him by worshiping, learning, loving, and serving.

The primary task of the Communications Team here at Christ UMC is to develop and carry out a communications program so members and others in our community will understand and become interested in participating in our congregations ministry.  Some of us are experienced and some are just getting started, but we are pouring out the wonderful gifts God has given us and sharing a great love for our church and community. If you have the talents or want to learn, we need you! Get on board with us today! 

A Look at What We Do

• Oversee the communications that go to our members and to out community (such as church newsletters, bulletin boards and displays, our church website, and audiovisuals).
• Coordinate contacts between our church and the media in our community (such as newspapers, advertising media, radio and television, signs, and billboards).
• Work with our church council to plan for programs, using resources from the district, conference, and general church.
• Develop and produce video resources for the ministry and outreach of Christ UMC.
