WELCOME
To all who are 50 years young, or older, we welcome you to join our group on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM in Fellowship Hall. We promise you a wonderful meal, superb fellowship, some laughs, sometimes singing, games on occasion, door prizes and more. We are a relaxed, friendly group and want you to come dressed comfortably; with the expectations of enjoying yourself and wanting to come back each month to a group who loves you, shares i your joys and sorrows and consideres you brothers and sisters in Christ.
INVITING NEW PEOPLE
To any of you who have not yet attended a Livewires Meeting, you really should come and check it out. The only requirement is that you are 50 years young,or older, have a healthy appetite, like people and enjoy being in fellowship with friends.
WHAT DOES IT COST, YOU ASK?
We pass a basket at the end of the meal and each person puts in a couple of dollars to help cover the cost of the meat for the meal. Whatever monies are accumulated during the year may help us out on a day trip or two, and whatever is left at the end of the year is given away to help others. We contributed $200 to the Happiness Fund through the Salisbury Post and $200 was contributed to the Mission in Ashe County where Steve and Louise Ellis have a home. We have donated money to these Missions in past years also. How blessed are the Livewires that we were able to help so many people that are less fortunate than we are!! Praise God!

If you have any questions about our group, please call Sharon Smock at 704-855-1793. If you would like to come but transportation is a problem for you, please don't hesitate to call Sharon about that also. We would be delighted to pick you up and return you back to your home. We just want you to come and enjoy!!
REMEMBER:
We look forward to sharing a meal with you and sharing the companionship that we have each month as we gather together and praise God for blessing us.
Also, keep in mind that we will be taking a bus trip on the first Friday of each month, with the exception of April (because of Easter) and December (because of Christmas). That is subject to change, of course. Pastor Jim is our bus driver and tour guide and the trips we have been on have proven that he is very good at what he does - and we thank him very much!!
