Family Night
What is Family Night? - It's our Wednesday night programing based on rotational workshops. So you ask - "What is a rotational workshop?" Take a minute and ponder exactly what is done in a workshop? Yes, I know the easy answer is to state, “work”. Think a little further though - many things may be accomplished in a workshop. Take the master craftsman for example, as he works he also renews his own spirit through his creations and by sharing his/her gifts with others. He/she may be both inspired and feel more complete because of this special work. Secondly, take the apprentice within the shop. This person is learning a trade perhaps a better way to describe it would be a way of life. By spending time in this workshop the apprentice learns, grows, and matures into a master craftsman his/herself. Finally, let’s think about the spectator or the shopper. This person is in awe of what they see. They wonder how these beautiful things are created and they see the peace and happiness it brings to those who experience it. They may even want to “buy into” just what they are making.
You see, we all need a place of workshop. A place that we can come and work on our own spiritual lives. From children to adults there will be a workshop for all. There will be nursery care provided, a workshop for the 3&4 yr.olds, a special workshop rotation for ages Kindergarten to 5th grade, youth workshops, as well as adult workshops led by our Pastor and Team Leaders. Please make plans to join us for gathering time beginning at 6:15 pm followed by the workshops from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
